My Best Friendships Day so far..

Friendship's day celebrations started in the mid-night itself. The surprise part of it all was Appu calling.

It was really bad that I couldn't recognise her (since I was half sleepy). But all my memories with her was crystal clear. I was happy-happy from that time itself. In the morning I had plans to have breakfast at Mayfair-the hotel. I went there with Sms. We filled our stomach with a cocktail of dishes (sharing & snatching). Then we went to Pal Heights-the mall, Sat & Ron scrolled the racks of Oxford-the book store while BO, Tims, Gola, kuru n Roy had khatti outside. While we were taking the lift upstairs Roy showed us his little bit of his dance steps inspired by MJ-Jacko. We were out of there in few minutes. Then there was again a good n safe bike ride (I was behind Tims this time) for me. We had fresh fruit juice on the way. And I was finally home after a visit to Padmalaya-the book store.

Now it was time to visit Paru & Rachu. She called at 2 pm and said the movie (Love aaj kal) was over, and that she had already hit the road n were fast approaching. I got myself stationed at our meeting place (C.S.P petrol pump) n waited. They came n went, zoom in front of me. I ran behind calling out to them. Not finding me they again went zoom in the opposite direction, again I ran behind calling out to them. Finally the Tom n Jerry chase was over, they stopped in front of the C.S.P petrol pump, losing out to me. We 3 went to Mirch Masala-the restaurant. We had Chinese n it was yum. We even got complimentary pudding, it was yummy too. We discussed how confused people are with their lives, that they celebrate Valentines on every celebration be it Friendship's day or Christmas. We derived the conclusion that people lack friends so they are, sadly, celebrating this day as couples with their partners. We were very proud of ourselves that we were single and enjoying this day, the way it should be celebrated..!! We paid the bill n it started to rain..!! It couldn't dampen our spirits which were soaring high. In the heavy rain, we mounted on our scooters made way to the hill top Shiva Mandir. We reached there it was serene n calm. We gossiped, damned the world and screamed each others name followed by "love you". It was awesome experience, we loved each others company heavenly n have planned to meet once every month till we are in the same city. And once in a yr when we are at different place. Finally at 5pm we were out of the temple. Outside the gate we hugged each other and vowed to be friends forever. Thus, it was my best Friendships day so far..!! Thanks to all the above mentioned people for making my day. Thanks from the deepest corner of my heart.
